G700 Achieves New Speed Milestones

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has revealed that the Gulfstream G700, an ultralarge-cabin aircraft, has surpassed 65 city-pair speed records recently.

Record-Breaking Flights

The recent record-setting journeys include a flight from Savannah to Honolulu. This flight covered a distance of 4,090 nautical miles or 7,574 kilometers in 8 hours and 52 minutes, maintaining an average speed of Mach 0.90. Another speed record was achieved when the aircraft flew 6,507 nautical miles or 12,051 kilometers from Los Angeles to Sydney in just 14 hours and 26 minutes.
