Garmin has announced that its satellite SOS emergency response service is now integrated into Google’s Android ecosystem, starting with the Pixel 9 smartphones in the United States.

With this integration, Pixel users in the U.S. will be able to access Garmin ResponseSM services when both cellular and Wi-Fi connections are unavailable, using the Satellite SOS feature on their devices.
