Adidas Unveils F50 Messi ‘La Vida Tropical’ Boot

Today marks the release of Adidas’ latest innovation, the F50 Messi ‘La Vida Tropical’. This football boot will be exclusively worn on the field by Leo Messi along with 10 of the world's most promising young footballers.

Design Enhancements and Updates

Building on last year's F50 ‘Triunfo Estelar’, the new boot presents several design innovations. Notably, it features a ‘Messi + 10’ signature in tribute to the 10 young talents who will don the new F50. These players include Lamine Yamal, Cavan Sullivan, Claudio Echeverri, Jaedyn Shaw, Antonio Nusa, Joel Ndala, Vicky Lopez, Kenan Yildiz, Assan Ouedraogo, and Eliesse Ben Seghir.

Visual and Technical Upgrades

The updated design incorporates jagged haptic lines on the upper, replacing the smooth lines of previous models, to symbolize the dynamic speed linked with F50 athletes. The boot, adorned with the iconic ‘Messi’ emblem on the heel, is available in a vibrant pink and turquoise palette inspired by Miami. It also integrates the latest F50 technology.

Sprintframe 360 – a specifically designed soleplate built to provide optimised stability and traction and help facilitate multidirectional speed and acceleration.
Hybridtouch Upper – a synthetic, lightweight material – that offers a moulded fit to provide comfort at high speeds, where it is needed most.
Burrito Tongue closure system – The closure of the ‘burrito’ style tongue is adapted to Leo’s preferred fit and has been engineered with knit material for maximum comfort.

First Appearance on the Field

The boot will make its debut on April 19th, when Leo Messi wears it during the MLS match between Inter Miami and Columbus Crew. Starting today, the boot is available for purchase.
