Bang & Olufsen Opens New Flagship Store on New Bond Street

Known for its exquisite craftsmanship, timeless design, and top-notch sound capabilities, Bang & Olufsen has opened its new flagship store on London’s famous New Bond Street. This store not only displays the brand’s entire range of luxury speakers and televisions but also offers a customized shopping experience for every customer.

An Immersive Shopping Experience

“”” We are excited to open the doors to our new flagship store in one of the world’s premier luxury shopping destinations. Since 1925, Bang & Olufsen has brought magical experiences to the lives of people all over the world. We wanted to extend this feeling to our new London flagship store by becoming the destination where you can hear, see, and feel the magic of Bang & Olufsen, experience our products and unique heritage “

A Sensory Journey Through Three Floors

Ground Floor: Interact with Luxury Products

The three-storey store begins its sensory journey on the ground floor, where visitors can engage with Bang & Olufsen’s range of luxury products. The space features tactile, organic forms with bold splashes of color, contrasted with steel, glass, and glazed ceramic tiles, reflecting the sophisticated simplicity that suits London’s renowned luxury retail scene.

Lower Ground Floor: Ultimate Sound Experience

On the lower ground floor, a sensorium offers the ultimate sound experience. Reflective metal walls and pink carpets lead to magically opening doors, welcoming customers to private sound demonstrations. Here, they can listen to their favorite songs, benefiting from Bang & Olufsen’s expertise in acoustics and audio perception, providing unmatched sonic experiences.

First Floor: Bespoke Solutions

Ascending to the first floor, customers enter the bespoke solutions area. Here, they can design and personalize products, which are then crafted at Bang & Olufsen’s specialist factory in Struer, Denmark. This space caters to individual customers, interior designers, and architects, inviting them to relax, enjoy, and interact with various textiles and materials for unique, customized pieces.

A Space for Creativity

Every part of the 4,000 square feet venue is meticulously curated to reflect its prestigious surroundings. Bang & Olufsen plans to incorporate local art into the store. From the opening, a special piece of furniture by celebrated London artist James Shaw encourages visitors to relax and immerse themselves in the environment. Shaw’s work, which challenges the concept of waste, aligns with Bang & Olufsen’s commitment to longevity and sustainable design.

“A strong retail presence in cities such as New York, Paris, and London is key to our future growth, and we will continue to expand our footprint in other key cities in the years to come. We have had a strong commitment to London for years, and our new flagship store complements our existing presence in the city, including Harrods and Selfridges. With our global network of more than 400 Bang & Olufsen branded stores, we have a unique opportunity to give our customers a full product and brand experience like no other in our industry”

Cultural Events and Artistic Integration

The store will host a range of cultural events, including live music, podcasts, streamed panel discussions, and art exhibitions. The first floor will provide a dedicated space for these ‘artists in residence’ to showcase their creativity.

Expanding Global Presence

A core part of Bang & Olufsen’s new strategy is to create outstanding customer experiences in branded channels and focus on key global locations such as London. In November, Bang & Olufsen launched a flagship showroom on Madison Avenue in New York and is strengthening its retail presence in Paris under the Win City Concept.

Commitment to Growth

Maintaining a significant retail presence in cities like New York, Paris, and London is essential for our future growth, and we plan to expand further in other major cities in the coming years. Our dedication to London has been strong for years, and this new flagship store enhances our existing locations in the city, such as Harrods and Selfridges.
