Expanding its open-top range, Mercedes-AMG introduces the new CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet, joining the SL Roadster. Equipped with a host of standard features, a spacious interior, and comfort features like AIRCAP® and AIRSCARF®, this four-seater is perfect for any season. The 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging delivers a powerful 330 kW (449 hp), thanks to its exhaust turbocharger and additional electric compressor. The integrated starter generator offers a short-term boost of 17 kW (23 hp) and 205 Nm of torque. The new model also includes the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and fully variable all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC+ along with active rear-axle steering.

Exterior Design: A Blend of Power and Elegance
The exterior design, with its AMG-specific features, stands out. The signature A-shaped radiator grille and slim full-LED headlights create a distinct brand look. The DIGITAL LIGHT headlights and the A-shaped front skirt add to the dynamic appearance. The flared front and rear wheel arches, a wide track, and 19-inch wheels give the new AMG Cabriolet a commanding presence.
Interior Design: Exclusive and Sophisticated
The interior is impressive with a 12.3-inch fully digital driver display and a 11.9-inch central display in portrait format. The optional dynamic ambient lighting with 64 colours and chrome-edged passenger compartment add a touch of sophistication. The leather seats are coated to reflect the sun’s near infra-red waves, keeping the leather cool even in direct sunlight. The interior also features integral seats in ARTICO man-made leather and black MICROCUT microfibre with AMG-specific graphics and contrasting red topstitching.
Performance Packed Engine
The CLE 53 4MATIC+ uses an enhanced M256 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder turbocharged engine, now called M256M. It boasts optimised combustion chambers, redesigned intake and exhaust ports, new piston rings, modified injection, and a new exhaust turbocharger. The engine provides a higher torque of 560 Nm in continuous operation and 600 Nm in overboost for up to ten seconds. The additional electric compressor enhances the torque build-up and engine response. The second-generation integrated starter generator (ISG) contributes to the engine’s increased efficiency.
AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G Transmission
The 3.0-litre in-line engine is paired with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission, which is known for its short shift times, quick response, the double-declutch function, and multiple downshifts. The transmission is especially responsive in the Sport+ drive programme and in manual mode.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT
The five AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving programmes – Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual – allow the driver to adjust the car’s characteristics at a touch. The AMG DYNAMICS handling control system is integrated into the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving programmes. The driver can also select the suspension levels individually.
AMG Performance 4MATIC+ All-Wheel Drive
The fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive offers optimal traction for dynamic driving under all conditions. The intelligent all-wheel drive control is integrated into the car’s overall system architecture, enabling continuous transitions in both directions between rear and all-wheel drive.
