Adidas has launched the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 2, the eagerly awaited successor to the acclaimed Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1. This shoe builds on its predecessor’s reputation, having been worn by more World Marathon Majors winners since its groundbreaking debut at the 2023 Berlin Marathon. Adidas athletes have set three world records and won over 30 major road races, including seven national records and an Olympic record.

As the flagship of adidas’ renowned Adizero line, which outfitted more victorious athletes than any other running brand in 2024*, the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 2 is engineered for superior energy return and race-day velocity.
- New midsole – The footwear debuts a new midsole which packs 3mm more of adidas’ LIGHTSTRIKE PRO EVO foam in the forefoot, resulting in an almost 10% increase in forefoot stack height [compared to its predecessor]. Lab testing shows this delivers a 5% increase in energy return when compared to the record-breaking Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1.
- Reimagined outsole – The shoe debuts a new outsole which features a grid-like pattern strategically placed on the forefoot, engineered to offer traction as the foot hits the floor.
