- The manufacturing innovation at On’s Zurich Labs significantly reduces waste and cuts carbon emissions by 75%, compared to other On racing shoes. This paves the way for manufacturing closer to the customer and opens up new opportunities for circular manufacturing.
- LightSpray™ technology makes its first appearance in the Cloudboom Strike LS.
- LightSpray™ upper is precision-sprayed, foot adaptable, seamless, and lace-free, resulting in a feather-light shoe of just 170g.

On athletes actively participated in designing and testing LightSpray™ technology and shoes. Earlier this year, Hellen Obiri, 4x World Champion runner and marathon winner in Boston and New York City, wore a developmental version of the Cloudboom Strike LS when she won the Boston Marathon for the second consecutive year.
LightSpray™ On Tour
This summer, the automated production unit that creates LightSpray™ will hit the road for live manufacturing demonstrations. Consumers can witness the production of LightSpray™ shoes at the On Labs Paris pop-up from July 27th to August 10th and from August 28th to September 8th. Initially released in April, the Cloudboom Strike LS will be available again in Fall/Winter 2024.
