These two brands, renowned for their athlete-focused innovations, have developed the Nike x Hyperice boots and vest—wearable tech aimed at optimizing athletic performance during training and competitions.
The Nike x Hyperice Boot
The Nike x Hyperice boot is a mobile, high-top shoe that provides heat and dynamic air-compression massage on demand for athletes’ feet and ankles.
This shoe features dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to warming elements, distributing heat evenly throughout the upper part. This combination helps drive heat deep into the muscles and tissue in the foot and ankle, aiding athletes in moving, performing, and recovering faster.
Athletes testing the boot reported that their feet and ankles felt freer and lighter, as if they had already warmed up before starting their routine.
Customizable Heat and Compression
Athletes can synchronize the heat and compression of both shoes with a button or run the left and right shoes individually. They can choose from three levels of compression and heat, powered by a battery pack in each shoe’s insole.

The Nike x Hyperice Vest
The Nike x Hyperice vest allows athletes to control a performance variable they historically couldn’t: the environment. Using similar technology from the Hyperice X line, the vest offers instant heating and cooling without ice or liquid, letting athletes adjust their body temperatures precisely during warm-ups and cool-downs.
The vest includes thermal modules with sensors that autonomously monitor and maintain body temperature. An air bladder and pressure sensor within the vest adjust to the body, pressing the thermal modules inward for enhanced comfort and maximizing the effectiveness of the heating and cooling technology.
