Introduction to the Zodiaque Collection Exhibition
Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting a Zodiac-themed exhibition in Milano from April 17th to 23rd to showcase the talents of Creative Academy students.
About the Creative Academy
Creative Academy, a corporate design school established by Richemont in 2003, specializes in designing jewelry, watches, and accessories. Each year, the academy offers a Master of Arts in Design and Applied Arts, attracting twenty young talents from around the globe.
The Zodiac Exhibition Project
This year, in collaboration with the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Arts, Creative Academy students conceptualized a Zodiac exhibition under the guidance of Tonino Negri, a prominent master of contemporary ceramics.
Incorporating the Fifth Element
For this exhibition, the four basic elements—fire, earth, air, and water—are complemented by a fifth element: ceramic. The exhibit features twelve grand sculptures that showcase items from the collection, offering visitors a personal encounter with their zodiac sign.
Immersive Experience at Palazzo Litta
This unique experience is set in the Sala Azzurra of Palazzo Litta, a landmark of Milanese Baroque architecture, with an immersive stage setup where twelve grand sculptures display items from the collection, giving visitors a ‘face-to-face’ encounter with their zodiac sign.
Extending the Exhibition to Van Cleef & Arpels Boutique
The Zodiac theme extends to the Van Cleef & Arpels boutique on Via Monte Napoleone, offering a rare chance to see six additional works from the exhibition. Here, six impressive statues present the designs created by Creative Academy students and master craftsman Tonino Negri. These designs are in conversation with Van Cleef & Arpels’ Zodiaque Jewellery collection, enriching the exhibition’s allure.
Dialogue with Zodiaque Jewellery Collection
In this exclusive setting, the evocative ambiance of Palazzo Litta is recreated, featuring six impressive statues showcasing the design objects created by the collaboration between Creative Academy students and master craftsman Tonino Negri, alongside Van Cleef & Arpels’ Zodiaque Jewellery collection.
