The Portugieser Chronograph Year of the Dragon (Ref. IW371629) comes with a 41-millimetre stainless steel case, a burgundy dial, and gold-plated hands and appliques. Burgundy, a captivating shade of red, represents the lively color of fire, a traditional symbol used in China to welcome the Lunar New Year, bringing longevity and luck.

Movement and Special Features

The chronograph is driven by the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre, a durable and precise mechanical chronograph movement with a classic column-wheel design. Peering through the transparent sapphire case back unveils another highlight: the gold-plated rotor of the automatic winding system is shaped like a beautifully detailed dragon. Additionally, the case back ring is engraved with “2024 YEAR OF THE DRAGON.”

Strap Options and Comfort

The Portugieser Chronograph Year of the Dragon is delivered with two straps: a black calfskin strap and a burgundy rubber strap, allowing the wearer to switch between two distinct looks. A butterfly clasp provides superior wearing comfort.
