Carnival Cruise Line has revealed an exciting lineup of new cruises for the 2026/27 season, with departures from both the east and west coasts of the United States. These new voyages, which are now available for booking, include popular destinations from homeports like Miami, Port Canaveral, and Norfolk. San Francisco Becomes a Key Port for Carnival Luminosa
For the first time in 2026, Carnival Luminosa will homeport in San Francisco. It will arrive after completing a 22-day transpacific Carnival Journeys cruise from Brisbane, Australia, in April 2026, which includes stops in Fiji, Tahiti, Moorea, and Honolulu. From April 27 to September 10, 2026, the ship will embark on voyages to Alaska. These 10-day cruises, departing on both Mondays and Thursdays, will feature stops in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Prince Rupert, along with scenic glacier cruising through Tracy Arm Fjord. Additionally, the ship will operate ten 4-day weekend cruises to Baja Mexico, visiting Ensenada, from April 23 to August 27, 2026. An extended 18-day cruise will set sail from San Francisco to Japan on September 20, 2026, with stops in Alaskan ports and Japanese cities like Otaru and Kobe before concluding in Yokohama.
Carnival Horizon’s Unique Journeys from Miami
Carnival Horizon is offering new cruises, including a special 13-day Carnival Journeys voyage from Barcelona to Miami on June 15, 2026. This itinerary includes visits to Alicante and Malaga in Spain, Gibraltar, and Carnival’s new exclusive destination Celebration Key in The Bahamas, following an Atlantic Ocean crossing. From its Miami homeport, the ship will offer six- and eight-day itineraries exploring vibrant Caribbean destinations from the summer of 2026 to spring 2027. Six-day Western Caribbean itineraries, departing on Sundays, feature stops at Celebration Key in the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, and either Montego Bay or Ocho Rios in Jamaica. Eight-day Southern Caribbean options, departing on Saturdays, include Aruba, Curacao, and either Bonaire, Amber Cove, or Celebration Key.
Diverse Itineraries from Port Canaveral on Carnival Vista
Carnival Vista will provide a range of itineraries from Port Canaveral, including six-day cruises with stops at Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay, alongside Grand Turk or Amber Cove. Eight-day sailings will expand the destination options with visits to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, San Juan, and Aruba.
Norfolk Welcomes Carnival Sunshine
Carnival Sunshine will offer a variety of itineraries departing from Norfolk. These include four- to seven-day cruises to Bermuda and five- to seven-day cruises to The Bahamas with stops in Half Moon Cay, Bimini, Nassau, and Celebration Key, along with Grand Turk. Longer eight-day itineraries will provide more variety, with trips to the Eastern Caribbean and others sailing to Canada, visiting ports such as Halifax, Saint John, and Sydney. A nine-day Carnival Journeys cruise will feature visits to Amber Cove, San Juan, and St. Thomas.
