Laurentine Perilhou, a French artist renowned for her intricate macramé work, was commissioned to transform the dame-jeanne into a breathtaking objet d’art. Crafted entirely by hand with gold thread, her design reflects the vine’s journey from soil to sunlight. Her creation embodies the spirit of nature and the terroir that nurtures Martell’s cognac.

A Collaboration of Traditions and Skills

Les Remarquables de Martell bridges two forms of expertise: the art of cognac making and artistic craftsmanship. Perilhou spent over 800 hours creating the intricate design using gold thread, synthetic sapphires, and a diamond set in 22-carat gold. This masterpiece showcases swirling vines, gold nuggets, and delicate leaves surrounding the glass dame-jeanne.

A Month-Long Exhibition Before Its Journey

The premier dame-jeanne made its debut on December 1st at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After a month-long exhibition, the dame-jeanne is set to embark on a tour across Asia, allowing more people to admire this stunning objet d’art.
